The company has embarked on one of the most decisive initiatives to strengthen its business for the long term : a proposed captive power plant adjoining its sponge iron facility.
The generation of captive power will be linked to the installation of pollution control equipment. At Jai Balaji, this is a relevant issue in the light of the company's proposal to commission a captive power plant.
The coal washery is constructed at a capital outlay of Rs. 8.17 crore. The washery is expected to have a feeding capacity of 50 TPH and will deploy the barrel-cum-cyclone coal washing technology.
